M.Phil Programme in Women’s Studies
The year 2012-13 marked a new beginning for CWDS with the initiation of a collaboration between Ambedkar University Delhi and CWDS. The M.Phil. programme in Women’s and Gender Studies was formally launched in 2012 with the first batch of students. The MoU, initially for a period of 5 years, was renewed in 2017 for a 3-year period.
This Programme is now in its seventh year. Faculty from the two institutions collaborate in teaching, supervision and co-ordination of the Programme, at all levels and the relevant committees are in place for the same. The degree is awarded by AUD since CWDS is not a degree granting institution. The degree certificate carries the names and logo of both institutions. CWDS faculty are recognized as full time regular faculty for the purpose of this Programme as per UGC Guidelines, 2016.
