CWDS invites applications for the Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR) Institutional Doctoral Fellowships in Women and Gender Studies for the academic year 2021-2022.
Full-time PhD candidates registered with UGC-recognized public institutions are eligible to apply for the ICSSR fellowship through CWDS.
Shortlisting of candidates at CWDS shall be based on evaluation of research proposals. Candidate selection shall be done by ICSSR.

The deadline for submission of soft copies of completed application forms, CV, and the research proposal as approved by the University (SC/ST/OBC/PH certificate if applicable) is Friday 20 August 2021.
Kindly note that applicants who wish to apply through CWDS must send their application details to CWDS and not to ICSSR.
It is a condition of the ICSSR fellowship that selected candidates have a CWDS faculty member as co-supervisor. CWDS co-supervisors are to be given formal recognition by the university where a selected candidate is registered.
Please note that any expenditure incurred before the actual sanctioning of the Contingency grant is not be admissible for reimbursement.
