Financial Support for CWDS Activities
The Centre for Women’s Development Studies (CWDS) has been consistently engaged in promoting research, education, advocacy, and field-based initiatives on women’s and gender issues. Through interdisciplinary studies, seminars, fellowships, training programmes, publications, documentation, and community outreach activities, the Centre continues to contribute towards gender equality, social justice, and inclusive development.
To sustain and expand these activities, CWDS seeks generous financial support from individuals, institutions, corporate organisations, and philanthropic agencies. The support received will help strengthen research initiatives, provide fellowships to scholars, organise academic programmes, develop knowledge resources, and undertake community-oriented interventions for the empowerment of women and marginalised groups.
We sincerely appeal to all well-wishers and stakeholders to extend their valuable support to CWDS in its continued efforts towards creating a more equitable and gender-sensitive society. Every contribution will significantly help in advancing the Centre’s academic and social initiatives.
There are several ways to support CWDS financially:
- Endow a named Grant to the CWDS corpus
- Endow a specific research area, programme or project
- Contribute to institutional resources and infrastructure, including the Library and Documentation Centre
Indian funders can avail of tax deduction for their contributions to CWDS.
